The BSWG exists to promote research, education, and collaboration in the field of Bayesian statistics. In line with this mission, we provide activities of interest to statistical practitioners from academia, industry, and regulatory agencies. These include short courses, webinars, seminars, and working group sessions on Bayesian theory and methodology applications relevant to the design and analysis of clinical or observational studies.

Goals
Currently, most BSWG members are in the United States; however, the BSWG desires to expand its global presence to enhance relationships with local partners and facilitate leveraging geographical diversity. To grow BSWG’s global scientific presence, the leadership plans to prioritize networking and collaborating with scientific working groups across continents, establishing an online presence, and actively engaging with social media. Furthermore, BSWG members are encouraged to continue publishing research in global forums and sharing their expertise in these international forums.
