The purpose of the career event is to provide useful information for students who are interested in pursuing a statistics career. Statisticians from pharmaceutical companies, consulting firms, and local universities will talk about their exciting career.
Webinar Series
The webinars are organized to promote discussion, collaboration, and interactive learning in various fields of statistics, with topics ranging from teaching, statistical consultation, statistical applications as well as methodology and theory.
Mentorship Program
In 2017, the Philadelphia Chapter mentoring program was initiated by surveying all chapter members about their interest in becoming a mentee or mentor. Mentors and mentees were matched based on their responses.
Spring Gathering
The annual Spring gathering is our chapter signature event at the Sedgeley Club (a historic boathouse dating back to 1903 and sitting along the famous Boathouse Row on the Schuylkill River) for members to mingle, meet, network, and get recognized.
